Oh Frank, how I’ve missed you

After making his fans wait soooo long before releasing more greatness from the Ocean, it’s here. (Well, Kinda)

It’s not quite an “album” but it’s a visual album, something that artists have been adopting lately. The visual album, Endless, opens with a construction site inside of a warehouse, music from his latest work over shadowing builder noises. Within the first minute or so, he begins a rendition of the classic “At Your Best”. Frank fan, or not, you can’t deny that the impact of this melody! It kinda said, “Let me set you up something nice.” And then the rest of the album said, “Oh, but don’t forget who I really am.”

The whole album is a very unique mix of Pop and R&B. I appreciate how he’s sticking to his own type of music and effectively communicating that. Music is an art form and every teeny tiny characteristic has it’s own meaning. (At least it’s how I see it.) Mr. Ocean is all the way artistic, and I love it.

The visual album debuted at midnight, Friday August 19th and is spreading like piss in a pool! lol  You can check it out via Apple Music or the website titled “Boys Don’t Cry“.

Frankie is claiming that he’s come up with two albums while he’s been away, so we shall see!

If you weren’t a Frankie fan before, you’ll definitely become one now. The visual album is great and all, but can a chick get something she can ride to, or nah?!
