South Park Cottages, Atlanta Georgia’s first, and only, minority developed tiny home community delivering compact luxury with sustainable flare. Booker T. Washington, also an Atlanta native, is the visionary and strategic developer of College Park’s new micro community.

Rooted in innovation and affordability, South Park Cottages features 29 lots ranging from 335 – 615 square feet, a dog park, community walking paths, solar lighting, a vegetable garden, and more. “It’s such a beautiful and comfortable approach to home ownership, and Techie Homes is going to do that, not just here in College Park. Next up, we’re expanding to Union City then the heart of Downtown Atlanta”, said Washington.

Migos Fans Mourn “TakeOff” After Home-going Ceremony in Atlanta

On Friday, thousands of Atlanta residents and Migos fans gathered at the State Farm Arena to attend a public funeral ceremony for Kirsnick Khari Ball AKA “TakeOff”.

The 21,000 seated venue “sold out” of free tickets to celebrate the life of a fallen Atlanta Hip-Hop artist. The ceremony lasted from twelve to three on a briskly overcast Friday afternoon and, included several performances, speeches from loved ones, and displays of gratitude for Ball’s contributions to #TheCulture.

A few ceremony goers gathered to share their experiences.

Stephen Burks’ “Shelter In Place” Exhibition Opens In Atlanta

The Covid-19 pandemic forced the world to sit still, restrict physical social interactions, and self-reflect. For some, this was an opportune moment to get creative and mirror their indoor experiences onto their work. Explore. Create. Innovate.

That’s exactly what World renowned industrial designer, Stephen Burks did during the height of the pandemic. Shelter in Place surveys the idea of making interior design enjoyably functional by redefining our relationship with home and personal space.

Burks’ Brooklyn-based studio, Stephen Burks Man Made, has been commissioned by many of the World’s leading design brands, including Cappellini, Dedon, Missoni, and Roche Bobois, to develop collections that bind handcraft with industrial production. His works with global craftspeople helped create aesthetically functional furniture, lighting, houseware, and textiles. Those collaborations hold heavy influence in this themed exhibition.
