There is no doubt that education is the key to success. No matter which field you are pursuing, there must be some foundation laid before you continue to build higher, right? Chances are that you’ve already done your four years of undergrad and might be stuck in the mud about where you should take your career (if you’re not still looking for it).
There is often the “affordability” dilemma when folks look into reaching educational goals. The excuses like, “I can’t afford it..” or “I don’t have the time, My name is Kevin Gates, I work six jobs..blah”, usually deter people from reaching a milestone.
I got the chance to do something that the working class, often, doesn’t get the chance to do; pick a CEO’s brain. Big woopty-do right?
Wrong.
He wasn’t just any CEO, he’s a multimillion dollar CEO! I sat and asked him questions that I had been asking myself for so long like, how to get a job that requires experience when you have none, what employers look for in good potential employees, how important is education really, does the type of school really matter, etc.?
He answered my questions in a heartbeat, with no problem, but the one gem he dropped on me lit my fire so quickly, I feel that it is my responsibility to share.
